Partnership agreement with Hydromotive team extended

HAN Hydromotive is a team of highly motivated students from the Automotive Engineering programme in Arnhem. Alongside their studies, they are developing an extremely efficient hydrogen-powered car. With this car, they take part in the Shell Eco-marathon. This is not a race where the aim is to cross the finish line as quickly as possible, but to use as little energy as possible over a certain distance.

With the support of partners including Doeko, the team has already won awards in the past. Doeko is therefore happy to continue supporting this student team. That is why Doeko has once again entered into a partnership for the next three years. During this period, we will continue to provide the Hydromotive team with components for their vehicle.

This year, the Hydromotive team aims to build an even more efficient car than in previous years. In addition to improving efficiency, they also want to make the vehicle more reliable.

This year, Doeko will support Hydromotive with the engineering and production of extremely lightweight wheels. For wheels, weight is especially important because of the rotating mass. At the same time, the required accuracy must be achieved to keep the wheel balanced while driving. A great challenge, and one that Doeko is happy to take on.
