The first AGV is now a reality and driving through the workshop

At Doeko, we do not like to stand still, except every now and then. That is why we have developed our own AGV system. AGV stands for Automated Guided Vehicle.

We have developed a system that can move fully automatically from our central storage to various machining centres. This innovation allows us to produce 24/7. The AGV system makes it possible to fully automate repetitive work. Products can be transported between different machining centres, but also, for example, to the measurement room for inspection.

As Doeko, this brings great value to our own production. It has also given us more knowledge of process automation. We can apply this knowledge again in the different mechatronic systems we develop.

In the future, we hope to continue expanding automation even further. This will allow us to produce simpler or recurring products more efficiently, while giving our employees more time for challenging projects.
