Extrusion dies
For a precise and stable process
Extrusion dies have been an important part of our work since the 1980s. Based on this experience, we design and produce extrusion dies that are built for stable production processes, long production runs and consistent product quality.
With our background in precision mechanics and automation, we develop dies that do more than function within the extrusion process. They also contribute to repeatable output and reduced downtime during production.
What is an extrusion die?
In extrusion, material is pressed through a die under pressure to form a product with a constant cross-section. This technique is used to produce continuous products such as profiles, yarns, tubes and technical plastic components.
The quality of the final product is largely determined by the stability and accuracy of the extrusion die. Small deviations in geometry can directly affect dimensions, surface quality and product properties.

Why Doeko
For a stable and low-maintenance production process
Doeko designs extrusion dies to minimise contamination and reduce interruptions in your production process. This helps production run for longer periods and lowers maintenance costs. In doing so, we look beyond the geometry of the profile and consider the complete extrusion process in which the die is used.
Maximum precision per cavity
Extrusion dies for synthetic turf production
Precision is part of the way we work at Doeko. For synthetic turf production, we produce plates with, for example, 240 cavities. We manufacture these with a high level of accuracy, because even a one-micron difference between cavities can affect the synthetic turf. It may, for example, lead to colour variation.
In addition, we can produce a high-quality extrusion die faster and more cost-efficiently than many other suppliers in the industry. This gives you a shorter time-to-market at a controlled production cost.

Frequently asked questions
Practical questions and answers
Can Doeko design and produce custom extrusion dies?
Doeko designs and produces custom extrusion dies for applications such as synthetic turf fibres, yarns, tubes and technical continuous products. We look at dimensions, material flow, cavities and maintenance. This results in an extrusion die that matches your product and extrusion process.
How many cavities can Doeko integrate into an extrusion die?
Doeko has extensive experience with extrusion dies containing more than 200 cavities. For synthetic turf applications, we produce die plates with more than 240 cavities. The dimensional consistency between these cavities is essential for consistent fibre quality and stable production.
