What will you do?
Do you enjoy working with modern CNC machines, automation, and precision-engineered products?
Do you feel at home in a manufacturing environment and have experience in machining? Then this could be the perfect role for you.
As a CNC Operator, you operate a variety of CNC machines and automated production cells. You work according to clear instructions and ensure that products are clamped correctly, machines continue running efficiently, and components are properly inspected.
Your responsibilities include starting up and operating CNC machines, setting up and adjusting machines, changing tools, and loading and unloading workpieces. You also prepare automated production cells, load them, and operate them according to the work instructions.
Common machining operations include milling, turning, grinding, EDM (electrical discharge machining), laser processing, and multitasking machining. You perform quality inspections using measuring tools, complete measurement reports, and identify deviations. You resolve simple malfunctions yourself; for more complex issues, you coordinate with fellow machinists, the metrology department, or production management.
Together with the team, you ensure during the day that our robots and automation systems can continue running in the evenings and on weekends. If an automation system does experience a malfunction outside regular working hours, we work together to get it back up and running. For this reason, Doeko operates an on-call service in accordance with the applicable company regulations.
What do you bring?
You have experience in precision machining and understand the machining process. You’re familiar with tooling, workholding, tolerances, and quality requirements.
In addition, you have experience operating and setting up CNC-controlled machines. Experience with milling, turning, grinding, EDM, laser machining, or multitasking machines is highly desirable.
You are comfortable using precision measuring equipment, can read technical drawings, and work accurately and systematically. A technical qualification is an advantage, but proven experience in a technical manufacturing environment is just as valuable.
Who are you?
You are accurate, practical, and technically minded. You enjoy working in a clean and organized environment, take pride in quality, and notice when something isn’t quite right.
You can work independently while also enjoying collaboration with your colleagues. You know when to ask for support and like to contribute ideas that improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
