Doeko expands machine park with Okuma Genos M560V-5AX

Okuma 560V

Doeko continues to invest in manufacturing capacity for complex high-tech components. After the recent expansion with the Nakamura-Tome NT Flex-PLUS, an Okuma Genos M560V-5AX has now also been added to our machine park.

With this 5-axis milling machine, we increase our capacity for parts where complex geometries, stable dimensional accuracy and repeatable quality are important. The machine gives us additional capacity for 5-axis work and fits the way we produce high-tech components: controlled, accurate and, where possible, prepared for automation.

Additional capacity for complex 5-axis milling

The Okuma Genos M560V-5AX has a working range of 1,050 × 560 mm and a Z-axis range of 460 mm. This makes the machine suitable for more complex milled parts where range, stability and accuracy come together.

The BIG-PLUS spindle interface contributes to a stable connection between spindle and tool. This is important for operations where dimensions, surface quality and repeatability determine the final result.

Prepared for automation and in-process inspection

When purchasing the machine, we deliberately chose additional options that fit the way Doeko wants to produce. The machine is prepared for automation, so that we can realise more unmanned production hours in the future.

We also chose linear scales and an enhanced accuracy package. This strengthens the machine’s suitability for parts where tolerances play an important role.

The machine is also equipped with an automatic measuring system. This allows us to carry out checks during the process and monitor quality more closely during machining. This fits our approach, where quality control does not only take place at the end, but is part of the production process.

Investing in flexibility, precision and scalability

The expansion with the Okuma Genos M560V-5AX fits within the broader development of our factory. Doeko continues to invest in machines, automation and process control to produce complex components not only accurately, but also stably and repeatably.

For customers, this means additional capacity for 5-axis machining, more possibilities for complex parts and a production environment that is increasingly built around repeatable quality.
