Quick Change Mould
For fast and repeatable material testing
The Quick Change Mould (QCM) makes it possible to change inserts within seconds during the injection moulding process. This significantly shortens the development cycle for materials and test specimens, while keeping test results repeatable according to international standards such as ISO, ASTM and UL94.
For more than 35 years, QCM has been used worldwide by laboratories, material suppliers and manufacturers that need to produce test specimens quickly and reliably. Thanks to its standardised structure, the system combines flexibility with consistent test quality, which is essential for comparable results across locations and test series.

Frequently asked questions
Practical questions and answers
Can I fully configure a Quick Change Mould online?
Yes. Via www.quickchangemould.com, you can configure your Quick Change Mould online based on your application, test standard and desired insert. You can make choices for surface finish, material, coating, product thickness, engraving, shrinkage, release and temperature sensor. Mould bases and maintenance items are also available through the QCM website.
Which ISO, ASTM and UL94 test specimens can I produce with QCM?
With QCM, you can produce test specimens for common ISO and ASTM tests. Through the QCM website, you can choose from 21 types of quick-change moulds and further configure them for your application. This includes choices around insert, product thickness, material, coating, engraving, shrinkage, release and temperature sensor.
Can Doeko make a custom Quick Change Mould if standard configurations do not fit?
Yes. QCM offers a wide range of standard quick-change moulds, inserts, mould bases and maintenance items. If a standard configuration does not match your test setup or production process, Doeko and Verbi can develop a custom solution for your specific application.
What is the lead time for a Quick Change Mould system?
Standard inserts are usually shipped approximately four weeks after ordering. For specials, custom configurations or non-standard inserts, the lead time depends on the technical requirements and the availability of material and production capacity. For custom solutions, Doeko and Verbi agree the planning with you in advance.
Do you also supply mould bases and maintenance products?
Yes. In addition to standard inserts, mould bases and maintenance items are available through the QCM website. This allows you not only to configure a complete Quick Change Mould, but also to order parts for replacement, maintenance and keeping existing QCM systems in operation.
